Thanks to Bank

An article on Aug. 1 regarding the Ventura County Symphony Assn.’s recent deficit stated that the Discovery Artists concert “lack(ed) a major sponsor.” Not true. The Bank of A. Levy generously contributed a grant of $10,000 to support the concert. That contribution, plus the $4,000 in ticket sales, allowed the event to lose only $15,000. Without the bank’s support, the concert would not have been considered.

We’re proud of the support we’ve received from the Bank of A. Levy and the Achille Levy Foundation over the past years. We’re going to miss them tremendously. We offer our sincere thanks to the Bank of A. Levy, Marshall Milligan, president, for making this inaugural Discovery Artists concert possible.
