Giordano Reopens: The Hong Kong retailer, whose flamboyant chairman and founder Jimmy Lai resigned after publishing a scathing attack on Chinese Premier Li Peng, said it has reopened its Beijing store after a month-long closure. Chinese authorities closed it, telling its managers they had failed to complete licensing requirements. They denied the closure was a reprisal.
