PRO FOOTBALL / DAILY REPORT : RAMS : Henley Gets Extension to Raise Added Bail

The deadline for cornerback Darryl Henley to come up with an additional $40,000 in bail associated with his criminal case has been extended to Wednesday, a federal judge has ruled.

Henley, indicted last year on cocaine conspiracy charges, had until today to come up with the additional amount to keep himself out of jail. But U.S. District Court Judge Gary L. Taylor granted Henley’s request for a deadline extension.

The Rams already have agreed to post a $2-million bond on Henley’s behalf during the time he is traveling with the team. But Taylor raised a separate bond amount that applies to the time that Henley is in Southern California.
