Temple Talk
The photographer missed the significance of the Idfu Temple (“My Best Shot,” Aug. 21). It is a fine temple to the Egyptian god Horus with its famous granite falcon-god guarding the entrance. Horus was the son of Osiris and Isis and had a wife named Hathor who made an annual voyage from her temple in Dendora to Idfu to reunite with her husband.
