Fake Goods: Carlsbad-based No Fear Inc., which manufacturers apparel with its “No Fear” logo, has initiated legal action against manufacturers and merchants who the company says are making counterfeit material. In conjunction with law enforcement officials, No Fear has taken action against businesses in Brea, Anaheim and Cypress, as well as cities in nine other states.
No Fear, which opened for business in 1989, sells licensed apparel through 3,200 retail outlets “If the merchandise is not bought through an authorized No Fear sales dealer, then it’s probably counterfeit,” a spokesman said.
