NEWBURY PARK : Porn Actress Pleads Guilty in Molestation
A 45-year-old Newbury Park porn actress will probably get probation after pleading guilty to molesting a 14-year-old boy, a prosecutor said Monday.
Deputy Dist. Atty. Tom Connors said that Laurie Arden pleaded guilty Friday to four felony charges stemming from two sexual encounters she had with the teen-ager in April and May.
Arden pleaded guilty to two counts of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor, one count of sexual penetration with a foreign object and one count of showing explicit photos to a minor.
Two other criminal counts against her will be dismissed at sentencing Oct. 17, Connors said. Superior Court Judge Charles W. Campbell Jr. has agreed to place Arden on probation as long as no additional victims come forward prior to sentencing.
Arden was arrested at the E-Z 8 Motel in Newbury Park on July 27 after the 14-year-old boy told police about his two sexual encounters with Arden. Arden hired the boy through a youth-employment center to help her move from a rented room on White Oak Lane.
At a preliminary hearing last month, the victim testified that he agreed to have sex with Arden in April because he was curious. In May, however, he said she forced him to have sex with her by threatening to report their previous sexual encounter to police.
The boy also testified that Arden showed him images on a computer screen and in magazines of nude women, including herself.
