Douglas Pagliotti; Production Stage Manager
Douglas A. Pagliotti, 36, production stage manager for some of the Old Globe Theatre’s most successful shows. At the San Diego theater, which he joined in 1980, he managed more than 150 plays and musicals, including the world premieres of Neil Simon’s “Rumors,” Stephen Sondheim’s “Into the Woods” and A. R. Gurney’s “Cocktail Hour.” This year he was stage manager for the Globe’s revival of “Damn Yankees,” which then went back to Broadway. Before joining the Globe, he had been on the management staff of the Denver Center Theater Co., and worked at the St. Louis Repertory Theatre, the Huntington Theatre Co. in Boston and at the Hartford Stage in Connecticut.
