COSTA MESA : Little League Enrollment Begins

Don’t miss the first pitch.

Join the Costa Mesa Little League by registering between 8 a.m. and noon today at Costa Mesa High School, 2650 Fairview Road.

A second registration will take place from noon to 4 p.m. Nov. 12 at Ball Park Pizza in Mesa Verde Center at Harbor Boulevard and Adams Street.

Players must be between 5 and 15 on or before July 31, 1995. Those registering must provide birth certificates for proof of age and utility bills for proof of residence. They must also live within the league’s territory, which is bounded on the north by Santa Ana, on the south by Newport Beach, on the west by the Santa Ana River and on the east by Fairview Road.

Sign-up costs are $60 per player, or a maximum $150 per family. The money helps cover the cost of uniforms, pictures and equipment, which are provided by the league throughout the season.

The third and final shot to join will be from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 30 at Triangle Square, at the end of the Costa Mesa Freeway in Town Square.

But three strikes and you’re out--well, almost. Miss that last registration and a $10 late fee will be assessed.
