That contrasts with profit of $236,000, or 8 cents a share, for the prior year. Sales showed a gain to $87.6 million from $73.1 million. For the fourth quarter, the company lost $3.3 million, or 33 cents a share, contrasted with a profit of $39,000, or 1 cent a share, for the comparable quarter a year ago. Quarterly sales were up 37%, to $24.6 million from $17.9 million.
