Verdugo Hills Shut Out by Eagle Rock, 33-0

Quarterback Eruve Navarette ran for a touchdown and passed for another to lead Eagle Rock High to a 33-0 Northern Conference victory over Verdugo Hills on Friday at Eagle Rock.

Navarette’s one-yard sneak in the second quarter gave Eagle Rock (5-2, 2-2) a 7-0 lead. Trenell Young gained 86 yards and scored a touchdown.

On the final play of the first half, Eagle Rock blocked Alex Trevino’s 43-yard field-goal attempt. Ismael Lagunas picked up the ball at the one-yard line and returned it 99 yards for a touchdown.
