St. Francis 21, Serra 12--Running back Darin Maxwell rushed for 93 yards and a touchdown and quarterback Brian Rucker passed for two touchdowns for St. Francis (4-2-1, 1-1) at Serra.
St. Francis forced four turnovers, two of which led to touchdowns.
Maxwell opened the scoring with a one-yard run in the second quarter and the Golden Knights took a 14-0 halftime lead on a one-yard touchdown pass from Rucker to wide receiver Chris Ross. Ross caught four passes for 36 yards and Rucker completed seven of 12 for 103 yards.
St. Francis took a 21-0 lead early in the third quarter but Serra (4-3, 0-2) came back on touchdowns passes of eight and 13 yards by quarterback DeWayne Hervey, who was eight of 20 for 140 yards.
