Chaminade 28, Bishop Montgomery 7--Jason Giovannettone rushed for 127 yards in 25 carries and scored two touchdowns for Chaminade at Bishop Montgomery. The junior also contributed an interception.
Bishop Montgomery (3-4, 1-1) fumbled on its first two drives, leading to Chaminade touchdowns. The first was an eight-yard pass from Tom Racius to Gabe Crecion and the second came on a two-yard run by Giovannettone.
Chaminade (5-2, 2-0) took a 21-0 halftime lead on another touchdown pass from Racius to Crecion, this one of five yards.
In the fourth quarter, Racius hit Giovannettone with a 14-yard touchdown pass. Racius completed 12 of 21 for 112 yards.
