There are at least three major “Nutcrackers” to choose from this year: the Moscow Grigorovich Company at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts Nov. 16-20, Los Angeles Classic Ballet at Long Beach Terrace Theatre Dec. 9-18, and the Joffrey Ballet (left) at the Music Center Dec. 21-30.
