Metrolink Citation
Re a letter from Metrolink passenger Bob Minty of Capistrano Beach, Oct. 17:
On Sept. 29 Minty showed an October monthly pass to a Metrolink conductor to ride the train. A citation was issued because commuters are required to have the correct month’s pass, not, as Minty’s letter stated, because he had a youth pass. Upon receiving proof from Minty that he did own a September pass (but accidentally left it at his home), I had his ticket dismissed within 48 hours.
