La Mirada 7, Riverside Norte Vista 6--Norte Vista (8-5) had two chances in the final two minutes to upset top-seeded La Mirada for the second year in a row, but both field-goal attempts by Ryan Engen failed in the Division VIII semifinal at Valley View.
La Mirada (13-0) scored its only touchdown on a 20-yard pass from Mike Palumbo to Greg Rudiger in the second quarter.
