NATION IN BRIEF : PENNSYLVANIA : Inmates Use Shop to Print Fake $20 Bills

The Secret Service is investigating a crude counterfeit operation uncovered at maximum-security Holmesburg Prison in Philadelphia. A print shop supervisor found an offset printing press plate apparently used to make the front of the illegal $20 bills, a prison spokesman said. No back plate and no finished counterfeit bills were found.
