Allergan Inc.: The firm said Thursday it has acquired Lorsen SA, a skin-care company based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
The purchase is the second South American venture in two years for Irvine-based Allergan, which manufactures eye- and skin-care products. In 1992, the company bought a controlling interest in Laboratorios Oftalmologicos Argentinos.
