Gary S. Lynch has been elected to the board of Cortex Pharmaceuticals Inc., an Irvine drug developer, bringing the number of directors to seven. Lynch, a professor of psychobiology at UC Irvine, is a co-founder of the company as well as scientific director for memory research.
