ANAHEIM : Volunteers Sought for Ground Water Study
Senior citizen volunteers are needed for a study to determine whether ground water sources are contaminated.
Training will begin Tuesday at an informal breakfast in City Hall West, 201 S. Anaheim Blvd., on the second floor in the conference center.
The project, sponsored by the city, the Environmental Protection Agency and the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program, is needed because more than 70% of the Anaheim’s water comes from ground water sources, and keeping it free of contamination is essential, city officials said.
Information: (714) 254-4279.
