Cause of $200,000 Blaze at Anaheim Warehouse Probed
ANAHEIM — Investigators were probing the cause of a fire early Thursday that seriously damaged a hotel-management company in Anaheim.
No one was injured in the 2 a.m. blaze, which caused an estimated $200,000 damage to a single-story warehouse that houses Vision International Inc., officials said.
When firefighters arrived, flames were shooting through the roof of the industrial complex, which also is home to a furniture company in the 1200 block of South Talt Avenue, said Division Chief Rudy Weyland of the Anaheim Fire Department.
It took 35 firefighters about 45 minutes to bring the blaze under control, Weyland said. Firefighters saved an estimated $650,000 worth of property, he said.
