Calabasas High’s Melissa Krolick scored 30 points as the Coyotes beat Santa Clara, 49-42, in a Frontier League game at Santa Clara. It was the Coyotes’ first victory over Santa Clara since 1981.

Krolick also had 10 rebounds and six steals for Calabasas (9-4, 2-1) in the Frontier League game at Santa Clara.

Jamie Apody added 18 points for Calabasas.

North Hollywood 80, Grant 46--Anna Celaya had 31 points, Samantha Fargeon had 18 points and 20 rebounds, and Mary Giles added 13 points for the Huskies (12-2, 3-0), who won their ninth straight in a Valley Pac-8 Conference game at North Hollywood.

Chatsworth 62, Taft 58--Nancy Vincent had 17 points, 11 rebounds and seven steals for the Chancellors (10-6, 1-2) in a Northwest Valley Conference game at Taft.

Kia Durham added nine assists and Mandy Sommers scored 14 points for the Chancellors.

The key to the game for Chatsworth was holding the Toreadors (10-2, 2-1) to five points in the second quarter.

Nyoki McKeith had 23 points and 10 steals for Taft.

Kennedy 81, Cleveland 34--Tamaya Morris had 22 points, 11 rebounds, 11 steals and six assists for the Golden Cougars (12-5, 3-0) in a Northwest Valley Conference game at Kennedy.

Tami Ross added 21 points and 15 rebounds and Coyles Scarbrough had 14 points and 13 rebounds for Kennedy.

The Golden Cougars took a 21-4 lead after the first quarter and were not threatened.

Burroughs 61, Burbank 15--Suzy Babko scored 16 points and had six steals for the Indians (10-9, 5-1) in a Foothill League game at Burbank.

Hart 62, Canyon 27--The Indians used a 16-0 run late in the first quarter and early in the second quarter of the Foothill League game.

Senior LaCresha Clark had 21 points, six steals and six assists for Hart (14-5, 5-1).

Canyon is 6-13, 1-5.

Birmingham 41, Granada Hills 37--Artesia McDaniel had 14 points for the Braves (4-7, 1-2) in a Northwest Valley Conference game at Birmingham.

El Camino 46, San Fernando 25--Tami Jones scored 25 points for the Conquistadores (7-5, 3-0) in a Northwest Valley Conference game at San Fernando.

Crescenta Valley 78, Arcadia 15--Michelle Greco had 25 points and 15 rebounds for the Falcons (17-5, 4-1) in a Pacific League game at Crescenta Valley.

The Apaches (1-14, 0-5) committed 37 turnovers and were held to two points in the first quarter.

Providence 36, Windward 32--Leading scorer Caroline Vanderburg had only 10 points, but six of them came in the decisive fourth quarter in which the Pioneers (4-3, 2-2) outscored Windward, 12-6, in a Liberty League game.

Holy Martyrs 46, Avalon 27--Lisa Akian scored 12 points for the Armens (10-5, 5-1) in a Liberty League game at Holy Martyrs.

Poly 60, Van Nuys 38--Dora Lopez scored 21 points for the Parrots (9-8, 1-2) in a Valley Pac-8 Conference game at Poly.

Nordhoff 55, Malibu 26--Nell Becker scored 16 points to lead the Rangers (11-5, 4-0) in a Frontier League game at Malibu.
