FTC Approves Guess Founder’s 80% Stake in Yes Clothing Co.: Georges Marciano announced last month that he had signed an agreement to buy controlling interest in Los Angeles-based Yes from Chairman George Randall and President Moshe Tsabag. Marciano, who was chairman of Guess and is owner of GO USA Streetware Inc., will shift to Yes the production of two new labels: Misfits and GMsurf. Misfits targets the contemporary high-end women’s clothing market. GMsurf is geared toward high-end junior women’s and men’s clothing. Marciano has said that Yes will also produce Yes Kids’ clothing, which had been licensed to another manufacturer.
