Pimco Advisors Has $54.7-Million Profit
Pimco Advisors L.P., a Newport Beach investment management organization, reported pro forma 1994 profit of $54.7 million, or $1.08 a share of Class A stock, down 5% from $57.5 million, or $1.10 a share, for 1993.
The company said that most of the earnings decline was attributable to a one-time pro forma $2-million expense reimbursement included in 1993 but not in 1994. Pro forma revenue rose 5% to $269.1 million from $255.5 million.
For the fourth quarter, the company reported pro forma profit of $13.7 million, or 27 cents a share, on revenue of $68.6 million. Pro forma results for the same period a year earlier were not available.
