Jill Pfatenhauer has been promoted to senior vice president of personnel at TransWorld Bank, a Sherman Oaks-based bank with 10 branches in the San Fernando, Santa Clarita and Conejo valleys.
Pfatenhauer joined TransWorld 17 years ago as a receptionist, the bank said. As head of personnel, she administers the bank’s affirmative action programs, and handles the administration of salaries and benefits administration for TransWorld’s 232 employees.
* Bill Battison has been named executive vice president of marketing and sales for Iwerks Entertainment Inc. Previously, Battison was president of Westwood One Inc.
Iwerks is a Burbank-based maker of specialty theaters and virtual-reality attractions.
