BRIEFLY : Cancer: Resident Named to Council
A Brentwood resident has been appointed to the American Cancer Society’s Los Angeles Regional Council.
Marjorie Kagawa-Singer, an assistant professor at the UCLA School of Public Health and the Asian American Studies Center, has been a volunteer for the American Cancer Society for 18 years.
As a member of the council, Kagawa-Singer will help set education policy and coordinate fund raising for the Los Angeles County Region of the American Cancer Society.
