The Santa Monica Museum of Art is looking for individuals to volunteer their time as gallery attendants, special events staff and office assistants.
The museum, founded in 1988, specializes in contemporary art. Volunteers will be asked to work about six hours a week or during special openings, which occur once every two months.
“The museum offers interested individuals a unique opportunity to participate in a dynamic artistic environment while providing valuable support to the organization,” said Scott Boberg, the museum’s director of education.
