House Continues Frenetic Pace as It Casts 100th Vote

WASHINGTON — The Republican-controlled House has cast its 100th vote in apparent record time.
The vote Wednesday, on a routine matter, marked the frenetic legislative pace inspired by the GOP’s “contract with America” agenda. In a statement, the Republicans noted that in past Congresses, the House didn’t record its 100th vote until late March, April or even later.
