American Lock & Supply Inc.: The company said Tuesday that it has acquired Electric Lock Supply in Los Angeles County for an undisclosed sum.

The acquisition will give Anaheim-based American Lock & Supply a foothold in the electric locking hardware business. Electronic security is a sector of the door hardware business that is experiencing dramatic growth, said Rick Myers, spokesman for American Lock & Supply.

Electric Lock Supply in Inglewood will henceforth be called American Access Supply.
