GLENDALE : Candidates Forum Tapes Available
In an effort to help voters become informed about candidates seeking office in Glendale’s upcoming municipal elections, two homeowners associations are distributing videotapes of a recent candidates forum.
The forum, sponsored by the Northwest Glendale and Chevy Chase Estates homeowners associations, was held last month and featured each of the five City Council and four school board candidates discussing a range of issues.
The tapes, available through the April 4 election, are available free at the city’s Central Library and the Casa Verdugo, Grandview and Montrose libraries. They also can be obtained at several video rental outlets, including Pacific Video, 20-20 Video, House of Video and Video Art, officials said.
In addition, the forum will be shown until the election on Sammons Communications cable Channel 6 on Saturdays at 10 a.m. and Mondays at 5:15 p.m.
