Countywide : Archeologist to Talk About Mayan Research
The Society of Hispanic Historical and Ancestral Research of Southern California is sponsoring a presentation by Janos Indrikis, a volunteer archeologist, on the latest research of the ancient Mayan Indian civilization.
The event takes place Feb. 25. Indrikis will show slides and drawings of the most recent findings of manuscript inscriptions, tracing back to 3,000 BC.
The free event will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Orange Family History Center, 674 S. Yorba. For more information, call (714) 773-1510.
