EL RIO : Fire Destroys Mobile Home, No One Injured

Fire gutted a mobile home in El Rio in a matter of minutes Monday, but no one was hurt.
Engines from the Ventura County and Oxnard fire departments arrived at the Valley Trailer Mobile Home Park shortly after the departments received a call at 10:56 a.m. that one of the homes was ablaze, county fire officials said.
The fire was declared out at 11:12 a.m., but not before it completely destroyed the mobile home, said Peter Cronk, county fire investigator. It appeared to have started in either a television set or a VCR sitting on a table inside the trailer, Cronk said.
The owners were not home at the time, he said.
