Man Shot While Driving Automobile

SAN CLEMENTE — A man was hospitalized after being shot several times while driving his car in San Clemente, authorities said.
The victim, whose name was not released, was taken to an undisclosed hospital after suffering multiple shots to the upper torso about 8:15 p.m., Sheriff’s Lt. Bill Leonard said.
Leonard said details were sketchy, and the victim told investigators he did not know who opened fire as he drove in the 3000 block of South El Camino Real.
