Executive Changes at 20th Century: Neil H. Ashley will retire as chief executive of 20th Century Industries on March 1, the Woodland Hills-based insurance holding company announced. William L. Mellick, president and chief operating officer, will add the title of chief executive and will stand for election to the board of directors at the company’s annual shareholders meeting May 23.
