OshKosh B’Gosh Alerts Consumers: The Oshkosh, Wis., company told consumers to watch for a flaw in the fasteners on the straps of its children’s bib garments. The flaw can cause the metal piece or clip on the end of the fastener to break into two pieces and become detached, most often during laundering. Consumers are urged to check the fasteners on children’s bib garments purchased after May 1, 1994. The problem is believed to have affected less than 0.25% of the bib garments sold since that date. OshKosh B’Gosh Inc. is a manufacturer and marketer of children’s wear and men’s wear available in more than 70 countries.
