Hardware Store Moves Into 8,500-Square-Foot Facility
Newbury Park Hardware, an independent retailer that is part of the Ace Hardware network, has moved into a newly refurbished, 8,500-square-foot store on Wendy Drive. The move gives the hardware outlet nearly 50% more room than it had in its previous location on Newbury Road.
Newbury Park Hardware has taken a long-term lease valued at $400,000 in the House of Fabrics Shopping Center, according to Westcord / Westoaks Commercial Group, a Westlake Village brokerage that negotiated the deal.
The center, which was renovated two years ago, is now 100% leased, the brokerage said. Westcord said the center’s owners plan to build an additional 14,000 square feet of retail space in the next 18 months.
