Milter Is New Vice President at Outlaw
Joanna Milter was named senior vice president of production at Outlaw Productions, the company that produced the holiday hit “The Santa Clause” for Walt Disney Co.
Milter formerly was vice president of development at Paul Schiff Productions on the Twentieth Century Fox lot. She will report to Outlaw partner Robert Newmyer.
Outlaw has a three-way deal with Warner Bros. and Japan’s Fuji Television Network to make four to seven films to be distributed by Warner, including the upcoming “Born to be Wild.”
* Producer Denise Di Novi, producer of “Little Women,” entered into a multiyear feature film production agreement with Turner Pictures.
* Michelle Steinberg is the new director of corporate public relations for HOB Entertainment Inc. She will be responsible for national publicity for all House of Blues sites and HOB Entertainment Inc.
* Veteran television executive Tony Thomopoulos is leaving Amblin Television, part of Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment, to become chief executive of MTM Entertainment and oversee entertainment programming for International Family Entertainment.
