USC Women Lose to Oregon State
CORVALLIS, Ore. —
Tanja Kostic scored 21 points Saturday to lead 24th-ranked Oregon State to a 92-59 victory over No. 23 USC to finish the regular season for both teams.
Oregon State, 20-7 overall and 12-6 in the Pacific 10 Conference, got 16 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists from Anette Mollerstrom, a junior forward from Sweden.
USC (18-9, 10-8) made only 30.6% of its shots, missing nine of 10 three-point attempts. Tina Thompson, the Trojans’ best player, fouled out after scoring a season-low eight points.
