BUENA PARK : 4 Bandits Terrorize, Rob Home’s Residents
Police are looking for four young gunmen who entered a home here early Friday, bound and gagged eight residents with duct tape and then fled with their cash and jewelry.
At 3:10 a.m., residents of a house in the 7300 block of Oxford Avenue were awakened by gun-toting robbers and crowded into a room where they were ordered to reveal where money was hidden, according to Police Sgt. Henry Dock. In the process, the men also armed themselves with knives from the victims’ kitchen, Dock said.
One of the men fired a shot into the floor, but did not injure anyone, Dock said. The victims did not hear a vehicle leaving after the men left the house, police said.
The assailants were described as male Vietnamese, ages 19 to 21, 5-foot-1 to 5-foot-4 with black hair and brown eyes.
