City Establishes Recycling Center for Phone Books

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO — A telephone book recycling center has been set up at a local grocery store in anticipation of residents receiving new directories from Pacific Bell.
The updated telephone directories will be distributed through May 19.
Douglas Dumhart, a city management analyst, said that businesses and residents can drop off their old directories at Vons, 32401 Camino Capistrano.
But city residents who have curbside recycling service can choose to put their old directories in their blue container for pickup, Dumhart said.
