Bullfrogs Trade Former Playoff MVP to Phoenix

The Bullfrogs traded forward Bobby McKillop and defenseman Steve Beadle to the Phoenix Cobras for forward Daniel Shank, Coach Grant Sonier said Monday.

McKillop was the MVP of the 1993 playoffs when the Bullfrogs won the Roller Hockey International championship in the league’s inaugural season. McKillop, 25, and Beadle, 27, played ice hockey for Detroit of the Colonial League this season.

Shank, 26, played for the Detroit Vipers of the International League this season. He was the league’s 15th leading scorer, finishing with 48 goals, 38 assists and 172 penalty minutes. Shank has scored 106 points in 29 regular-season RHI games.
