SEASON AT A GLANCE: Wasden leads the region in the 100-meter high hurdles (14.39 seconds) and 300 lows (44.42), and ranks fourth in the 100 (12.1). She had problems with her steps in the lows until last week when she moved into ninth place on the all-time Ventura County list.
WEEK AT A GLANCE: Wasden won the 100 (wind-aided 12.32), 100 highs (wind-aided 14.78) and 300 lows (44.42), and ran the anchor leg on the victorious 1,600 relay team (4:05.28) in the Channel League finals Friday after winning the 200, both hurdles and relay as a junior. “It’s still a very new event to me,” Wasden said of the lows. “But things are starting to come around.”
