* Bill Tuohy’s dispatches from London have always deeply impressed this expatriate Brit with their succinct understanding of the mores and moods over there.

It is no surprise to me, therefore,that the same depth and scope of understanding were displayed to such touching effect in his memoir of the fall of Saigon (World Report, April 25). I found this the most moving and controlled of all the reminiscences and summaries which have appeared.
