Format Change
Starting June 6, local news from the Long Beach and Southeast areas will appear each week, Tuesday through Friday, on special pages in the Metro Section, Part B of your daily paper.
The Long Beach and Southeast tabloid section will be discontinued today in preparation for this expanded Metro format, which will provide news and features from communities throughout Los Angeles County.
Long Beach and Southeast community event and entertainment listings will appear Fridays on special pages in the Life & Style section of your paper. Information for these listings may be sent to: Long Beach-Southeast Calendar/Special Sections, Los Angeles Times, 1375 Sunflower Ave., Costa Mesa, 92626.
You also will be able to find local events listings through TimesLink, The Times’ on-line news and features service.
