Album Reviews : In Brief
** 1/2 Jerry Lee Lewis, “Young Blood,” Sire/Elektra. The Killer’s first studio album in a dozen years isn’t the artistic rejuvenation the title suggests. He’s bathed in an echo-heavy sound recalling his Sun Records heyday, but few songs require him to stretch. Where you wish for performances that leave you, aaaaahh--breathless, the best you can say is “Oooooh . . . feels good.”
Albums are rated on a scale of one star (poor), two stars (fair), three stars (good) and four stars (excellent).
