PREP BASEBALL NOTES
The North scored nine runs in the first three innings and beat the South, 9-1, in a California high school all-star baseball game Friday at Clovis West High School in Fresno.
Craig Kuzmic of La Quinta had double for the South. The teams meet again at 7 tonight at Clovis West.
