FULLERTON : College District Trustee Resigns

Barbara G. Hammerman this week announced her resignation from the board of the North Orange County Community College District, saying she wants to devote all her time to a project to solicit large endowments for nonprofit agencies.

Reading from a prepared statement at Tuesday’s board meeting, Hammerman said, “For the past two years, I have been the creator and director of a pilot project for financial and human resource development for endowment programs. . . . I am gratified to have been asked by the national agency for which I direct this program to consider a move to New York in order to oversee the expansion of my project into a national effort.”
