Armed Man Robs Seal Beach Hotel
Police are searching for a man who walked up to a Radisson Inn employee in the hotel’s lobby, brandished a gun and demanded cash early Wednesday, authorities said.
The man took an undisclosed amount of money and fled, investigators said. The female employee was not injured.
Police said the man robbed the hotel about 3:30 a.m. The employee told police that the man suddenly appeared and pointed a gun at her. The hotel is in the 600 block of Marina Drive.
Detectives described the man as white, 35 to 50, wearing blue jeans, a white T-shirt and a denim jacket. He is between 5 feet, 10 inches tall and six feet tall and weighs 140 to 165 pounds, according to investigators.
