A man and a teen-ager were recovering Wednesday from drive-by shootings in Santa Ana and Anaheim that police believe are gang-related.

Two teen-agers were walking east in the 1200 block of West Santa Ana Boulevard about 12:05 p.m. when three shots were fired at them from a passing car, Santa Ana Sgt. Dick Faust said.

One of the shots struck a 15-year-old in the neck. The injured teen-ager was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where a nursing supervisor said he was in stable condition.

The other boy was uninjured, Faust said. The shooting is being investigated by the Santa Ana Police Department gang unit.

In an unrelated incident, a man was in good condition Wednesday, one day after he was shot by someone in a passing car in Anaheim.

The 19-year-old man was shot as he walked across East Romneya Drive at North State College Boulevard about 7:35 p.m. Tuesday, according to Anaheim police.

Sgt. Jerry King said the man was hit in the shoulder and may have a bullet lodged near his lung.

He was taken to Anaheim Memorial Hospital, where a hospital spokeswoman said he was in good condition.

King said police had no suspects.
