Shawn Cassidy, who during the last two seasons has been coaching Orange Lutheran’s freshman boys’ basketball team, has been named varsity coach, the school announced.

Cassidy’s freshman team won the Olympic League championship last season.

Orange Lutheran also announced that Nancy Paul will become the school’s athletic director, replacing Jeff Pressman, who had been interim director during the 1994-95 school year.
