* David Rone has been named vice president of business affairs for the Walt Disney Motion Pictures Group.

Rone will be responsible for business affairs for motion pictures produced under the studio’s various production banners. He will also continue to serve as the studio’s principle liaison to Caravan Pictures.

For the past year, Rone has been director of business affairs for Walt Disney Pictures and Touchstone Pictures.

* Larry Dustin has been named vice president of resort development for Universal City-based MCA Recreation Services Group. Dustin was with AspenCrest Hospitality, which he co-founded, in Denver.

* Damon Lee was named vice president of production of Burbank-based Silver Pictures. Previously, Lee was a creative expert at Turner Pictures.

* Brian C. Mulligan has been named a vice president of MCA Inc. Mulligan has served as MCA controller since October, 1991, and will continue in that position with the addition of his new title. Prior to joining MCA in 1991, Mulligan was a senior manager with the international accounting and consulting firm, Price Waterhouse. He holds degrees from USC and UCLA’s Anderson Graduate School of Management.
